Do You Know the Orkin Man?
Recognize Wayne? He's the spokesperson for Orkin and quite a handsome bug. We so enjoy hanging out with him and Bebe and their two beautiful daughters, Daisy and Rosie. The girls play so well together it warms the cockles of our hearts.
Grace Li Qi Turns 3!
Wow - it's so hard to believe that Grace is already 3. We had a wonderful time at the big birthday bash and it seemed all of Silver Lake came out to celebrate - her mommy and daddy know everyone! Jemma and Anna spent the better part of the party minding the bubble machine and Grace was a perfect host, making the rounds with everyone.

Last Licks
There's nothing Jemma loves more than to lick peanut or almond butter off of toast, or a waffle, or a rice cake or a cracker... whatever it's on, she'll lick it off! This time, she was hamming it up for the camera - she's becoming very aware of "performing" these days, ever since she started going to rehearsals with us for Dad's production of Little Shop of Horrors (where, "Daddy does the talking and Mommy does the dancing" according to her.) Jemma insists on listening to the music every day and knows the words to several of the songs, as well as some of mom's choreography - it's very surreal to hear her sing such sophisticated lyrics, but not as surreal as Will Ferrell's daughter doing "The Landlord" bit http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8266518622315644048. BTW: Jemma got her first "real" haircut, although it looked more even when Mommy did it! Next time we won't take her to Daddy's hipster salon...
Walk, Don't Run!
We participated in the Revlon 5K Breast Cancer Run/Walk this year - we strolled almost the entire walk, save for a quick detour at the Panda Express potty and an occasional leg stretch. The crowds were enormous - seemed like everyone wanted to hear Pat Benetar in concert. At the end, we finally got some cute photos of Jemma, Emma & Sydney fooling around in the parking garage.
