Plum Crazy!

The summer stone fruits have played well with Jemma - especially plums - and this year, they are incredibly sweet and delicious. It's a joy to watch her devour them down - this series of photos, spanning 4 different plum-eating sessions, can't quite capture the delight and satisfaction but we're here to tell you, it's a highlight for us. Her favorite part is finding the pit, at which point she exclaims, "I found the pit!" She knows the difference between pits and seeds and is fascinated with both. She especially likes to acknowlegde the seeds she can eat, like in kiwis - "I can eat these seeds!" - and remind us of the pits and seeds she can't eat. Perhaps she'll be a gardener one day...
