In Durango, Colorado, Jemma got to mount and ride her first horse. She's used to the pony rides in Griffith Park, but this was a horse of a different color! She cried at first but then quickly adjusted to the height and chanted over and over, "What a bumpy ride!" She enjoyed petting Cowboy's nose most of all. When we got home, she reconnected with her big stuffed horse, Eagle, and continues to tell him over and over how she was scared at first and cried, but then she was brave and Cowboy was a bumpy ride!
